The purpose of the coaching is for YOU to be able to achieve more on your own after accessing Jim’s support. It’s not about him but about what YOU can do with what he provides to you.We have found that the following arrangement works best for most clients.

  • Coaching is done in a one day, or three or six-month process. The fee is payable in advance and renewable upon agreement. (Quick One-time sessions can also be arranged.)
  • This begins with an in-person meeting or Zoom-style extended video consultation to: assess your goals and needs, identify the best format for helping you and determine how success will be measured. Jim will request certain information from you in advance to assure that this meeting is highly effective.
  • The initial in-person meeting is the big one; this is where Jim will help you clarify what big goal you can accomplish while working with him and exactly where you stand in relation to your desired outcomes and how you can best get there. He’ll give you abundant reasons to believe in yourself more strongly and to see opportunities you may have overlooked or brushed off. You will leave this meeting encouraged to go for it as never before.
  • Following the first meeting the process shifts to telephone and email contacts. This allows you to have Jim’s support “On Tap” for quick replies and spontaneous input before a meeting or speech as well as for scheduled contact.
  • If some of Jim’s learning systems or materials relate directly to your coaching needs deep discounts can be applied within the coaching agreement.
  • The responsibility for action and follow through is always on you not on Jim. He won’t be calling to remind you nor nagging you about performance. His role is to give you expert advice, strategic counsel and the encouragement to do what you choose to do.
  • Contact, after the initial meeting, is flexible and can be reasonably rescheduled as appropriate. The expectation is that up to one hour a week via Zoom or phone will be the norm. In the event of multiple missed appointments we reserve the right to consider the coaching agreement completed. If Jim Cathcart is responsible for an unreasonable number of missed appointments a refund of up to half the coaching fee may be made.
  • A Day of Reflection: Take a day off from being in charge or being the go-to person. Let Jim guide you. Jim’s one day personal intensive coaching is done in person at his location in Austin, Texas or for an extra travel fee, at your location of choice. The fee for this is typically $7,500 and includes one full month of follow up via video or phone and email. All of Jim’s attention is focused only on you for the day plus private dinner and lunch with Jim, one on one.
  • FEES for coaching vary based on the nature of the assignment but are typically around $7,500 for a one month assignment or $3,000 monthly for a three month process ($9,000 total). Annual contracts are typically $30,000 and include many extra resources and privileges. Payments can be arranged via automatic credit card charge or PayPal if agreeable to both parties. Note: For clients who just want some “right now” guidance we can often arrange for a one-time Zoom video or telephone session for a smaller fee.
  • The coaching fee is set at dramatically less than Jim’s keynote speaking fees (currently $15,000 to $25,000 for a single day) therefore we reserve the right to reschedule coaching in order to accommodate paid speaking engagements.
